Oh boy! What a weekend it was. Here is a little small blog that I couldn't resist from writing.
Saturday
evening... It all started as a small potluck. :). Some amazing food,
lot of good talk, couple of new faces. After the meal, we started off
with Taboo, and then moved to Truth-Dare. (We got to know some
interesting facts about quite a few people. Then started the infamous
Mafia round. The temptation was high and couldn't be resisted with 14
people around to play the game. As always, three games ended up being
3:30am on the clock.
Right at the time when everyone was doing
the postmortem of the last game and thinking about a nice sleep, Kosovo
came up with the craziest idea of going to San Francisco and watching
the sun-rise from Golden Gate Bridge. Somehow, group had a lot more
energy left than what everybody's voices and eyes told. A plan was
sketched in a matter of minutes and with a great excitement and
temptation, everyone geared up to go to the city.
With
a perfect execution of the plan, 12 of us in three cars reached the
mountain North of Golden Gate bridge "just in time" for the sun-rise.
Getting up early and seeing the sun-rise like this is something which
everyone would have wanted to do somewhere deep in themselves but never
had the slightest idea that this is how it is going to come their way.
An ultra-clear sky gave an amazing panaromic view of the whole SF city
and bay. Within a couple of minutes of our arrival, the Sun rose above
the mountains of east bay. What followed is best experienced and I can
never do justice to it by writing a few lines about it. Hope, pictures
would bring life to those moments.
After that we had a nice breakfast in Sausalito, a
refreshing walk in the cute downtown and heard a few nice stories while sitting on the rocks next to SF bay.

crazily amazing idea of "sunrise in SF". I will remember this trip for
a long time to come. Thanks everyone to have the bubbling enthusiasm
regardless of a long tiring night.
It was a perfect night-out after a long time. I re-lived my college
days today and felt like a 18-year old again. :)
Can't wait for the pictures to come out.
